Connecting Local Students with Performing Art
Enchantment’s Arts in Education Program works with Philadelphia area schools to bring artists to schools, integrate the arts into lesson plans, and provide top-quality performances through our local touring program, Enchantment Everywhere.
We just left the [“Fisherman and the Flounder”] assembly… It was an EXCELLENT literary experience for my class. It was an absolutely amazing performance. The kids were 100% engaged! We need to have many more assemblies like this one! I wanted to express my thanks and appreciation for bringing the arts back into our school!

This is just one of many examples of how an Enchantment performance can engage students in learning and ignite their curiosity, creativity, and love of the performing arts. Since arts education is increasingly absent from schools (particularly those in underserved neighborhoods), the Arts in Education Program that Enchantment provides is needed now more than ever.
